N+ first duels
Opening kills. It rewards the player sent first into a site, and it is graded per map like any other prop.
A first duel is the opening engagement of a round. Winning it means getting the first kill, not merely taking the fight. First duel lines price how many of those a player took in one map.
Why role dominates
Opening kills go to whoever is sent in first, so the statistic tracks role more than it tracks aim. An entry player on a team that plays fast will take more first duels than a lurker on the same roster, and a roster change can move the line overnight.
Grading it
ClutchIQ counts first duels won per stored map, on the last 5, 10, or 20 maps, and applies the same sample floor as every other prop: no rate below five maps, and anything under ten flagged as a small sample. Average first duels per map is shown alongside, and withheld entirely when fewer than five maps match the filters.
Questions
- Is a first duel the same as a first blood?
- Effectively, in the way ClutchIQ stores it: the opening kill of the round, credited to the player who won the duel. A duel that ends without a kill is not counted for either player.
- Do pistol rounds count?
- Yes. The pistol round has an opening duel like any other round, and it is counted in first duel totals.

A conditional line: only maps where the team actually won a pistol round count towards the sample.
